Monisha Built a Social Network

I'm Monisha and I've created My Own Teen Space. I was not allowed to use facebook or myspace since my mom said i was To young to be on the site with so many adults. So after much thought I decided to come up with my own website for teens and preteens.

I used my allowance to buy a domain from go daddy. My mom puts money on a prepaid teen card for me every friday in the amount of 20 bucks. Did I mention I was 12? So I started building my site called Myownteenspace.com

It is a place for preteens and teens only... when my parents saw me on the site they started fussing about being on a social site. I told them it's my site, since you told me I couldn't be on adult social sites I decided to build my own and pay the bill every month...Paying the bill is part of teaching myself about money and budgeting right?

My mom looked at my dad and said are you going to let her do this. Dad said well honey we told her she couldn't be on social sites we didn't say she couldn't build her own... so it was a good for me!!

It's taken me 6 months to finish it due to school work and chores.That was one of my parents rules make sure all home work and school work and house duties were done. Thank God summer kicked in so i could finish it. I'm so happy now! I just need traffic... Lol Myownteenspace will let you upload pictures, videos, send messages, chat, change your mood and more. It's for ages 10-17 - I have rules. Rule number 1 is no adults!!

lol but you do have to tell your parents you have a profile on myownteenspace... My mom checks up on it daily.Yes she has made me remove a few graphics. What can I say I have rules to follow too...
